Operation Child Find
What is Child Find?
Child Find is a process designed to identify, locate, and evaluate individuals
from birth to 21 of age who may need special education and related services.
Why is Child Find Important?
Child Find helps identify appropriate services needed for students to
achieve academic success, along with the necessary supports for social
and emotional growth throughout their educational journey. Identifying
students with disabilities can help provide timely interventions and
support, ensuring that they receive the assistance needed to reach their full
potential.
